This session explores how AI technologies can be leveraged to improve web accessibility in online and hybrid educational courses. Attendees will gain insights into the latest AI-driven tools and strategies that can automate the creation of accessible content, from alt-text generation to real-time captioning. We will discuss practical approaches for integrating AI solutions that support diverse learning needs, ensuring compliance with accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.1. We will discuss use cases and potential challenges. The session will also include a brief overview of ADA Title II changes on web and app accessibility.
